It all starts with a "bad" body.
Chances are, at some point in your life you were told that your body was ‘bad’. If you’re like me, that negative self-perception started a roller coaster ride of self-loathing, yo-yo dieting and self-sabotaging your efforts.
Perhaps you didn’t realise that feelings of food addiction, yo-yo dieting, weight cycling, binge eating, emotional eating and many other stressful behaviours and outcomes were related to body image. Not only that but financial health, poor relationship choices, drug abuse, eating disorders and suicide are also attributed to negative self-perception.
