I’m Michelle, I’ve been working with women to help improve their health by improving their relationship with food for 10 years now. I’ve come to realise though, that in order to help people improve both those things, we need to work on body image.

Chances are, at some point in your life you were told that your body was ‘bad’. If you’re like me, that negative self-perception started a roller coaster ride of self-loathing, yo-yo dieting and self-sabotaging your efforts.

I loved the Brave Bodies Course. If I’d had this at the beginning of my body image and exploration of the lies and dangers of “diet culture” it would have saved me a lot of time – because it is all here! Why Brave Bodies?
I created Bodies for myself ultimately.
I thought back to when I was a little girl and I was teased and neglected by peers because of the way I looked. and how because of this, I spent most of my life battling with my body and lack of self-worth and did every diet you can possibly imagine in the hopes of becoming or staying slim so that I could ‘fit in’.
So, Brave Bodies is everything I needed and have worked on to improve my own body image and I’m hoping that I can empower parents and their daughters or sons as well so that fewer and fewer children experience the heavy burden of body shame and weight stigma by giving the adults in their lives the tools to begin to work on theirs.

Frequently asked questions
How much time does this course take?
The course itself is only about 2 hours of video-watching time. So you could easily do it all in a few hours. That being said, the real magic happens through the activities. These will involve a bit more time and energy. However, you do not lose access to this course so take your time, work through it at your own pace and watch the magic unfold.
Can I do this with my teen?
By changing your own relationship with your body, this will definitely help the teens in your life. But that's not all, if you enrol for this course you'll get a free login and workbook for 1x teen in your life so that they can do it too.
What if I'm not happy with the course?
I guarantee that by the time you finish this course and do the activities you will have begun to change the way. you look at your body and the bodies of others.
